Since Dubya thought it'd be a good idea to slap a Band-Aid on the shitty economy by sending me a check for $600, I decided it'd be a good idea to stimulate the economy and blow $400 of it on toys.
K. and I played Wii Rockband and Mario Kart at a friend's place a few weeks ago and it became clear that we needed some Wii in our lives.
After much searching on eBay today, I found this. Not a bad deal when you consider that buying everything new would be close to $500.
Next on the wish list are the Wii Fit and Rockband. If you haven't ever played Rockband, please find a friend who has it and let them know how much you miss hanging out with them. Also, allow yourself several hours of hangout time. It's quite ridiculous.

That seems like a pefect fit for the BS stimulus checks. That should bring hours of fun and enjoyment. The Wii Fit and Rockband is a must. Rockband has stolen hours of my life away.
I have fond memories of playing Mario Kart on the SNES at a buddy's house in middle school. MK for the Wii is a blast. You pop the controllers into the steering wheels, so they're wireless, and they have a rumble pack in them. You hit these boxes along the track and there are a number of things you can pick up. The bullet is the best because it gives you a huge acceleration and impunity from any obstacles. Faaantastic.
S. and I, being as wealthy as we are, have both an Xbox (not the 360, of course) and a SNES. I have two Spiderman games for Xbox, and Tiger Woods 2004 is on loan from a friend. I did take Ole Miss to a Nat'l Championship in NCAA Football 2003. For the SNES, we have Yoshi's Island, which is waaaay too addictive, and Mega Man X, among others.
I've played Wii, very fun... but I'll wait until I have money and you don't wait in line to pay 500 for it.
Remember, SNOWBALL YOUR DEBT!!!!
If it makes you feel any better, I didn't put the Wii on a credit card as originally planned because of PayPal's shitty website. They really press the bank account transfer on you. I've been duped! It's all good, though. I'll just miss out on those reward points.
